Pabalu Vehera built by using brick and the name of the Pabalu vehera comes from glass beads that were found in the environment. The actual name of the Pabalu vehera is unknown until now. Pabalu vehera build in the period of King Parakramabahu. Top and much of Pabalu vehera was destroyed. Some of Buddha images have been preserved until now. There were number of image houses surrounding the main structure.
